Route 66 

America’s Main Street is our main street, too! Vinita’s historic Route 66 is lined with a variety of shops, antique stores, cafes and more. In fact, Cyrus Avery, known as the father of Route 66, called Vinita home just prior to statehood. Perhaps Vinita’s most famous Route 66 attraction is Clanton’s Café, the longest continually owned family restaurant on Oklahoma’s Route 66.
