Our central location makes Vinita a popular place for regional events including tournaments, rodeos, arts & craft shows, family reunions and concerts. See venues below for more information and directions, as well as rental information for your event.


American Legion Complex         

The Dale Peace Post 40 of the American Legion venue, including rodeo arena, is located just off I-44 and Route 66 at 26625 South 4410 Road. The American Legion Complex has a full calendar of dances and events.  Call 918-256-6880 for information.

Bill Morgan Sports Complex              

The Bill Morgan Sports Complex features 4 baseball/softball fields and is located at 1550 West Hope Avenue. Whether playing under the lights or during the day, the facility offers bleacher seating and room for chairs. Call Vinita City Hall at 918-256-6468 for information.

Craig County Community Center

The Craig County Fairgrounds is conveniently located off I-44 at Exit 289 and Historic Route 66.  Outdoor areas include a show barn, outdoor arena and covered pavilions.  The Craig County Community Center is a 24,000 square foot facility with 4 multipurpose rooms with wifi, and pre-kitchen. The Center is designed to host events from small meetings to large tradeshows, receptions, and the Craig County Fair. 

Vinita Lake Park                                

Vinita Lake Park is a peaceful setting located just north of Vinita offering a great place for picnics, primitive camping, and enjoying the 45 acre lake. The lake is the perfect place for kayaks, canoes, and 10ft bass boats with electric trolling motors. The Lake is full of crappie and catfish and is designated as a premier largemouth bass fishery by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife

Vinnie Ream Cultural Center   

The Vinnie Ream Cultural Center is a place of historical significance for the region. Named after Vinita’s namesake and renowned sculptress, it is a place for us to come together in celebration of the beauty and unity of our common heritage and culture through the expression of God-given talents in the arts and humanities.  The two-story brownstone house on the corner of Ross and Canadian is the headquarters of The Vinnie Ream Cultural Center.  The center is the venue of many celebrations, including reunions, showers, weddings, parties and more. Contact Information: 918-244-5086
