84th Annual Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo a PRCA Rodeo Sponsored by American Legion Dale Peace Post #40 is held nightly August 25-28 at the American Legion Rodeo Complex, 26625 South 4410 Road, just off Route 66 and Interstate 40.

Join us for Vinita’s pride and joy - our historic rodeo held in honor of Will Rogers since 1935. The story goes Will Rogers was in town for a college reunion and told those gathered “have a rodeo next year and I’ll be back.” The rodeo was scheduled but Rogers was tragically killed in an airplane accident in August 1935. The rodeo went on, and continues, in Will’s memory. The PRCA rodeo with eight exciting events is held every night for 4 nights. Barrel Racing, Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, and Steer Roping.
