Hiring Event to be held April 27

More than 20 businesses are expected at the Vinita Job Fair on April 27 from 10 to 4, part of a regional hiring event.  The fair will take place at the First United Methodist Church at 314 West Canadian. In addition to businesses with job opportunities, Northeast Tech, Cherokee Nation Career Services, and Oklahoma Workforce will be on hand for free assistance with resume creation and other skills and programs related to job seeking.  Some businesses will be doing on-the-spot interviews and there will be a drawing for doorprizes. The Vinita job fair is the 3rd of 4 fairs as part of a regional hiring event to match businesses and job seekers. The final fair is scheduled for May 6 in Miami.
