The group is seeking other entries of all sizes. Parade applications are available at the Vinita Daily Journal, 66 Apparel, Clanton’s Cafe, Goodfella’s Pizzeria and City Hall. Applications can also be found online at VinitaRoute66Festival.com, on the groups Facebook page, or via email at info@VinitaRoute66Festival.com.

“We look forward to continuing this Christmas tradition and fun family event, especially in these challenging times,” noted VFRt66 Vice-President Dennis Patrick. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, organizers are extending parking and viewing areas to help ensure social distancing and encourage mask usage.

The parade will begin at the intersection of Smith St. and Canadian Ave. and travel east before turning left on north on Scraper Ave and follow the traditional Christmas parade route.
